In recent years, the Czech Philharmonic has regularly visited Bad Kissingen and 2025 is no different. With Tomáš Netopil conducting, soloists Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Alisa Weilerstein join.

The Czech Philharmonic will travel to prestigious festivals in Europe this summer. At Austria’s Grafenegg Festival, the orchestra will perform under the baton of Petr Popelka with cellist Gautier Capuçon and will present works by Antonín Dvořák. At the Enescu Festival in Bucharest, the orchestra will perform George Enescu's Symphony No. 4.

Concerts by the Czech Philharmonic at the Dvořák Prague Festival are already a tradition. For this year’s festival, the Czech Republic’s leading orchestra has sought to bring original dramaturgy and unusual artists to its home, the Rudolfinum in the heart of Prague.

The Czech Philharmonic first ventured to Asia on a legendary tour in 1959. Since then, it has returned as often as every two years whenever possible. In fact, the orchestra has already performed 373 concerts in Japan. It discovered South Korea in the 1990s and made its debut in Taiwan in 2019.

Following a performance at Vienna’s Konzerthaus, the Czech Philharmonic will travel to Milan for a rare appearance at the legendary Teatro alla Scala. Chief Conductor and Music Director Semyon Bychkov will be joined by Italian pianist Beatrice Rana and vocal soloists Stefanie Irányi, Martin Mitterrutzner, and Jongmin Park.

In April, the Czech Philharmonic embarks on an intense nine-day tour with eight concerts across Germany and the Benelux. Each evening begins with Dvořák’s sparkling Carnival Overture, followed by Elgar’s Cello Concerto featuring Sol Gabetta, and concludes with Stravinsky’s thrilling The Rite of Spring.

Bad Kissingen has been one of the regular destinations of the Czech Philharmonic in recent years. She will visit here again in July 2026 with conductor Dalia Stasevska and will perform two concerts.
