As part of the Year of Czech Music 2024, the Czech Philharmonic released three more albums with Pentatone alongside Má vlast.
In June, a recording of songs by Antonín Dvořák, Bohuslav Martinů, and Gideon Klein was released, performed by mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená under the baton of principal guest conductor Sir Simon Rattle. September saw Bychkov’s interpretation of three of Dvořák’s greatest symphonies and concert overtures, followed in November by Legends and Slavonic Rhapsodies, recorded with the orchestra and Tomáš Netopil.
Experience the beauty of these recordings for yourself. You can find all the albums, along with audio samples, on the Czech Philharmonic’s e-shop.
