Štěpánka Plocková graduated from the Brno Conservatory in the class of Prof. Miroslav Zichy and is currently completing her bachelor’s studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Prof. Miroslav Petráš. During her studies, she has been intensively involved in both chamber and orchestral performance.
She has participated in masterclasses led by Michaela Fukačová, Jérôme Pernoo, Jonáš Krejčí, and Tomáš Jamník, and has also taken part in a masterclass with Steven Isserlis. As a soloist, she has performed, for example, with the Brno Philharmonic and the Czech Virtuosi orchestra.
Since 2024, she has been a member of the Vyšehrad Piano Trio and the Janáček String Quartet. She has also gained experience through the Orchestral Academy of the Brno Philharmonic. Since January 2025, she has been a member of the Chamber Music Academy.
She regularly participates in competitions, including Concertino Praga (chamber music category, 2018), the Gustav Mahler International Competition in Jihlava (1st prize, 2021), and the Competition of Conservatories and Music Grammar Schools (1st prize, 2022). In 2023, she became a laureate of the Summer Music Academy in Kroměříž.
