Czech Chamber Music Society • Kalabis Quintet
The wood quintet is one of the most popular chamber music ensembles and is closely associated with music making in the Czech Republic. Antonín Rejcha (Anton Reicha) devoted many of his works to the genre. This concert by the Kalabis Quintet, featuring predominantly music of the 20th century, shows that Rejcha had plenty of Czech successors.
